Another "god album" released in 1973, which declared the heyday of progressive rock with Pink Floyd's "Madness", will be released in a box containing all existing recording sessions and a new mix in 2023, including the first Dolby Atmos sound source! DGM, the British label that has not shown any sign of moving in the spring despite a lot of media coverage as a work released in the same year as the 50th anniversary package release of Pink Floyd's "Madness", is finally moving! The final version of "The Sun and the Fear" is a 2 Blu-ray (with audio) + 2 SHM-CD box set. (1) 2023 Stephen Wilson mix (Dolby Atmos, DTS 5.1, Stereo) with an overwhelming ambient feel that is clearly different from the 40th anniversary mix (2) "Sun and Shiver" recording session tapes left in the DGM archives. (3)Blu-ray II contains all the existing recording session tapes from January 16 to February 1, 1973, supervised by Alex Mundy, the king of the DGM archive. The Blu-ray II disc contains a 24/96 Hi-Res mix of all existing recording session tapes from January 16 to February 1, 1973, supervised by Alex Mundy, the king of the DGM sound archives! The package specification is the same as "Palace 50" etc., paper jacket + hard-shell box type.The two Blu-ray discs contain audio only. The Blu-ray discs are produced by DGM in the U.K. for worldwide distribution, while the CD portion, pressed in Japan, uses the SHM-CD format for the Japanese edition only. All printed materials, including the English booklet translation by Sid Smith, written especially for this package, are produced in Japan. The CD portion will be pressed in Japan and released in SHM-CD format for the Japanese edition only. The Blu-ray I and II are European pressings of the worldwide imports. Two bonus paper jackets not included with the imports (1) The first DGM-approved spread jacket. The inside is a 2023 design featuring an indivisual photo of the band in the studio taken by photographer Willie Christie in March 1973. The photo of Jamie Muir, who did not participate in the photo session, is enclosed in the jacket as a double-sided 1c card. (2) French vinyl with PP treatment not on the original. This is a reproduction of the jacket which was popular among collectors because of the colored sticker of the band's name on the top of the front cover. The sticker is not attached, but thrown inside the jacket. A card with scans of both sides of the label is also enclosed in the same package.
