In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the release of the U.S. compilation "More Hot Rocks", "More Hot Rocks" was re-released in paper jacket in 1972 as a sequel to the compilation "Hot Rocks", which was released the previous year and enjoyed strong sales. The CD is now available in paper-jacket format, 50 years after its release. While "Hot Rocks" was a greatest hits album, "More Hot Rocks" contains previously unreleased songs and rare tracks such as "Come On," "Money," "Bye Bye Johnny," "I Can't Be Satisfied," and "Long, Long Whil and "Long Long Whale". This is truly a "behind-the-scenes best of" album. Despite its core content, the album sold 500,000 sets and reached No. 9 in the U.S. For this reissue, the LP sold as a limited item for Record Store Day 2022 has been reproduced in paper jacket size. In addition to the two inner sleeves that came with the original LP, a set of prints photographed by Gered Mankowitz is also included. Reissue of the 1997 CD strip, which was first released as a 2-CD set in Japan.
