The third album with new members except Robert Fripp and Pete Sinfield. Andy McCulloch on drums and vocalist Gordon Haskell on bass. Keith Tippett joined the band as in the previous album. This work was produced with the participation of Mel Collins and some of the leading horn players in the British jazz scene from Tippett's connections. The band has attracted attention as one of the leading progressive rock bands, and under great pressure from Fripp, they wrote the symphonic masterpiece "Lizard" in a short period of time, which has two sides: delicate beauty and raging dynamism.The unique sound that pushes the limits of Fripp's Mellotron and overuses it as a melody instrument, and the outstanding playing of the horn players from Collins and the Tippett Group weave a one-of-a-kind epic that is a masterpiece!
