Description:
He began playing the wood bass in the summer of his first year of high school. While still in school, he was discovered by world-renowned pianist Makoto Ozone, and enrolled in the Kunitachi College of Music, where Ozone teaches, as a jazz specialist. After graduation, he has been active mainly in Tokyo. She is also a member of the unit "soraya" with Kento Tsubosaka and "From OZONE till Dawn," a project for young musicians of the next generation led by Makoto Ozone and Misuzu Jono. This debut mini-album includes three original songs and three cover songs to convey his talents not only as a bassist and vocalist, but also as a composer and arranger. In addition to playing "Off the Wall," the cover songs include bold arrangements of Stevie Wonder and Chick Corea, which are his roots. The recording was produced by Makoto Ozone, who also produced the album, and other elite musicians including Takeshi Obayashi, Naohiro Naoshiro, Hiroshi Odagiri, and Kan. (C)RS
