Description:
The "Yoshida Brothers" (Ryoichiro Yoshida and Kenichi Yoshida) are the one and only Tsugaru shamisen artists who transcend the boundaries of traditional performing arts, and "Les Frères" (Moriya Saito and Keido Saito), whose unique playing technique has been called a "piano revolution", is a four-handed piano ensemble. This is a supreme collaboration album by two brother duos who know these strings inside and out. This collaborative album is the result of the inevitable meeting of these two sibling units in 2017, and the full realization that they have been deepening their exchanges through more than 15 live performances since then. The album will feature a total of nine songs, including popular songs such as "RISING," "Winter Cherry Blossoms," "Joker," "Parallel world," "Shakunanganpi (Kenichi & Keido)," and "Shigure - Dream (Ryoichiro & Moriya)," which have been performed live, enthused the audience, and made their hearts shake, as well as three new songs. The four musicians are "string masters" who bring out the best in the Tsugaru shamisen, a plucked string, and the piano, a percussion instrument, and create "music that can only be heard here" from their individual thoughts and echoes. The album jacket features the crests of the Yoshida and Saito families. The third letter "e" in the title "Freres" is officially written in French.
