This is the first new album in three years by Alice-Sarah Ott, a beautiful pianist of Japanese and German descent, who is active around the world. This is her first Chopin album since her second album "Chopin: The Complete Waltzes" which was a big hit. This personal album follows in Alice's footsteps, focusing on Chopin's "24 Preludes Op. 28" and weaving in seven works that influenced her as interludes. Chopin's Preludes Op. 28, which were written in all 24 keys, following Bach's mean-clavier cycle, are very accessible because each piece is short and has its own character, as if freely spelling out the poetic sentiment that overflows as it is inspired. This product will be available for purchase on Friday, so it will be delivered on or after the day of release.
