Description:

Jazz vocal queen Diana Krall releases her first solo album in three years. The album is a retrospective of the recordings she has made in the studio over the years, especially the years since 2016, which she felt were "too good to leave out, too far from outtakes" and compiled them into a single album of previously unreleased material. The years since 2016 have been special for Diana Krall. She released a solo album, "Turn Up the Quiet," and a collaborative album with Tony Bennett, "Love Is Here to Stay," and toured the world, but that didn't satisfy her creativity, and she found time to work with master musician Tommy She found time to make new recordings with master musician Tommy Lipuma. However, just then, Lipuma passed away. Although she lost her old production partner and put a lid on the soundtrack, she decided to make an album around "But Beautiful," which was the last recording that Lipuma produced and the one that he liked the most.If "Turn Up the Quiet" is the front, this is the back. It is a collection of unreleased recordings of her memories with the Replumas, secretly capturing her busy life from a different angle. The album includes "All Most Like Being in Love" and "That's All," recorded with John Clayton, Jeff Hamilton, and Anthony Wilson as a quartet, "Autumn in New York" and "There's No You," recorded with Christian McBride and Russell Malone as a trio, and "The Quiet" and "The Quiet. There are many extravagant sessions with some of the leading artists in the jazz scene today, including "There's No You. Al Schmidt was the recording engineer for the production of this album. Diana herself insisted on the production of "a voice that can be heard close by" so that her thoughts and feelings would reach the listener as much as possible. The cover photo was taken by Diana herself. The product will be available for purchase on Friday, so it will be delivered on or after the day of release.
