The Rolling Stones themselves planned the show in December 1968 and filmed it with John Lennon, Eric Clapton, The Who, and other splendid guests, but it was kept in storage until 1996, when it was released on VHS/LD/CD. The DVD version of the show is now available in a stand-alone DVD format with 4K restoration and much improved picture and sound quality. The Stones, whose performance has already evolved from the studio recordings, mainly featuring songs from their just-released album "Beggars Banquet," as well as the super group "The Dirty Mac" consisting of John Lennon, Eric Clapton, Keith Richards, and Mitch Mitchell, the Who, and the Jethro brothers, are featured. The Who, Jethro Tull, Taj Mahal, Marianne Faithfull, Yoko Ono, and many others perform in Dolby Vision (the latest HDR technology that increases the amount of luminance and color information per pixel, resulting in images with far greater depth and vivid contrast than ever before). The latest HDR technology) and Dolby Atmos (which treats sound as 3D spatial information, providing more depth to the listener).Both the original standard (4:3) and widescreen (16:9) versions are available.
