Description:
[Fischer-Dieskau's association with the famous accompanist Moore lasted for more than 20 years from 1951 to the early 1970s, during which time they gave numerous masterful performances. This recording of "Swan Song" is included in the third volume of the "Lieder Compendium", a collection of 463 Schubert songs for male voices recorded with Moore. This highly accomplished performance has reached a state of maturity and has not lost its value as a standard. This is a product for the "German Romanticism Discs" campaign.
