[This disc features the Piano Sonata No. 2 written in her 20s, "Scenes in the Forest" written in her 30s, and "Song of Dawn", the last work that the composer herself was involved in publishing. The performances, which emanate from a well-honed sensibility, are truly rich in flavor, and one can sense Mitsuko Uchida's deep love for Schumann's works. This is a product for the "German Romanticism Disc Selection" campaign. Recorded in May and June 2013 at Neumarkt
