Reminiscent of her first album "Norah Jones (Come Away With Me)" released in 2002, which was a worldwide hit, this album features her piano throughout, and is a return to her jazz roots while also bringing together country, folk, rock, soul, and jazz, the foundations of American music. The result is a one-of-a-kind sound that combines the foundations of American music - country, folk, rock, soul, and jazz - into one. The album contains 12 songs, including 9 original songs written or co-written by Norah Jones herself and 3 cover songs such as "Peace" by Horace Silver, "Flowers of Africa" by Duke Ellington, and "Don't Be Diabolical" by Neil Young.
