This is the second Twist album, following the previous one, and reached No. 41 in the U.S. While the previous album consisted mainly of original songs, this album features many songs arranged from standards with a twist sound. In Japan, EP versions were released under the titles "Besame Mucho Twist" and "Kuroi Hitomi Twist," the former of which was performed during a concert in Japan in 1965. After the twisting boom passed, this album was re-released with a new title "DANCE with The VENTURES" and a new jacket.
