Following on the heels of "GARO: Kouren no Tsuki", this story is set in the Heian period. The director is Satoshi Nishimura, whose powerful and dynamic worldview is based on "Ushio-Tora" and "The First Step". Animation production is handled by Studio VOLN (Ushio-Tora) and Studio M2 (Onihei Hankacho). --In the age of peace, the beautiful city of Kyo boasts of its prosperity. The guardians, Raikou, Hoshiaki, and Kintoki, are on a mission to protect the people from a strange creature called Hira. One day, a beautiful woman named Meira appears before them. And Tokimaru, who is working in the darkness. When beautiful cherry blossoms bloom after a thousand years, a sad and fleeting revenge drama unfolds. The initial limited edition comes with a sleeve newly drawn by Masakazu Katsura, a booklet (24 pages), and a bonus CD (original soundtrack/audio drama (episode 4 + digest of episodes 1-3)).
