In the 25th year since Tomoyasu Hotei went solo, he released his first solo album "GUITARHYTHM" (released on October 5, 1988), which was created from scratch in London, one year and eight months after his last album "COME RAIN COME SHINE" (released on February 6, 2013). This is the first original album in 1 year and 8 months since the last album "Come Rain Come Shine" (released on February 6, 2013). This album, created in collaboration with numerous producers and engineers, is truly a global standard. This album is the first step of their new challenge to the world, and at the same time, it is a work that they have put aside singing, which they started 25 years ago, and devoted themselves to guitar and sound making, and it was created in collaboration with four producers in London. Pioneering punk and metal rock musician Iggy Pop provided vocals on "How the Cookie Crumbles" and "Walking Through the Night," as well as writing the lyrics. Vula Maringa, who has collaborated with Basement Jaxx on "Oh My Gosh" (2005), also contributes vocals on "Texas Groove.
