YONA YONA WEEKENDERS is a next-generation band that comes from a melodic punk background, but has emerged as an heir to the city pop genre. On April 7 (Yona Day), the first anniversary of their major label debut, the band will release their first full album as an LP record. The album includes many popular songs such as "Joden de Kouri suru" (I'm going home on the last train), "Good bye", "Ii Yume", "Night Rider feat. The album comes in a limited first-run color vinyl/clear orange edition. With the concept of "good music that can be used as a snack," the album has been highly praised by various media for its groovy city pop sound and beautiful voice of Vo. and Gt. The band has been gaining attention in the indie scene by being listed one after another on influential playlists, and has performed at popular festivals. The band's name comes from the fact that all the members work as office workers during the week and play as a band at night and on weekends.
