Ichiro Fujiyama: One of the biggest stars in the history of Japanese popular songs. He was the first singer to receive the National Medal of Honor. His songs such as "Over the Hill" (Columbia), which he sang as a student, were big hits. After graduation, he joined Victor instead of Columbia. This CD is a compilation of sound recordings from those days and stereo recordings made at Victor in the 1970s. The CD includes not only popular songs, but also classical songs and lyric songs that are being released on CD for the first time, providing a rich variety of content.
