Singer-songwriter Toshihide Baba, who will celebrate the 30th anniversary of his debut in 2026, will simultaneously release two best albums covering all of his activities. This definitive album contains 28 songs carefully selected by Toshihide Baba himself from all the labels he has been a member of, including representative songs such as "Start Line" and "Boys on the Run". Guest artists include Kaname Nemoto (Stardust Review), Kiyotaka Sugiyama, Takeyoshi Sato (Single Like Talking), KAN, Kobukuro, Ayako Ikeda, Daisuke Mori, and Katsuyuki Mito. Also included is "Can't Stop Lovin' You," a newly recorded collaboration with Mitokatsuyuki. In this album, we can look back at Baba Toshihide's quintessential lyrical world, including songs that throw out messages with highly narrative lyrics and vivid descriptions of the characters that appear in them, as well as highly empathetic love songs that are born from the everyday life. On the sound side, the album reaffirms Baba's wide-ranging musicality with a sense of humor, influenced by sounds based on good old Japanese and Western music such as rock, folk, pop, soul, and songs.
