An album featuring two duet works by Marianne Schuppe, a German vocalist and composer based in Switzerland, and Deborah Walker, an Italian cellist based in Berlin. The first track is *Aus dem Zeltbuch*, a collaborative work by Schuppe and Walker; the second is *Occam River XXIX*, the final work of French composer Éline Radigue, who passed away in February of this year (2026). *Aus dem Zeltbuch* (2022/23) is a work based on a text collage by Marianne Schuppe that reveals the surface of the realm where words and sounds intersect. In particular, it focuses on textures situated at the very limits of what can be perceived as sound. This work creates a sonic space where two languages alternate, reexamining how language is perceived within music. As words and sounds overlap, pathways of sound may emerge through the processes of narration, meaning, and understanding. *Occam River XXIX* (2023) is part of the large-scale series *OccamOcean*, which Éline Radigue began in 2011. The compositional process incorporates imagery, oral tradition, and memory, fostering a creative relationship between the composer and the performers. Like all works in the *OccamOcean* series, *Occam River XXIX* was created by Radigue for Schuppe and Walker, and through a process of close collaboration with them. The music unfolds from the inner life and nature of sound, its spectral complexity, internal transformations, and interactions.
