Nana Takahashi, a young guitar and lute player who studied under Toyohiko Sato, makes her debut on Nostalgia, the independent label of Toyohiko Sato, a world-renowned master of the lute world and the pride of Japan. A native of Chiba Prefecture, Nana Takahashi has won several awards, including first place in the 2013 Kanagawa New Guitarist Audition, first place in the 2015 East End International Guitar Competition, and second place in the 2017 Kyushu Guitar Music Competition, and in 2016, she studied abroad in Argentina where she was greatly influenced by the guitarists of Buenos Aires, the home of From 2021, he studied in Japan in Kyushu under Toyohiko Sato, learning ancient music techniques such as arch lute, baroque lute, and bass with a focus on baroque lute, and is currently working on connecting ancient and contemporary music. In her remarkable debut recording, she performs fascinating works by J.S. Bach, de Vizet, and Weiss on baroque lute and gut strings.Toyohiko Sato calls her "one of his great successors," and Nana Takahashi, a baroque luthier of the next generation, makes her recording debut with Nostalgia, where she has been praised for her abilities.
