The 34th release on the luxury Berlin label "bastille musique," which has been well-received for its high standard of performance and unparalleled luxury binding, is a collection of Pierre Boulez's works performed by two of Switzerland's leading contemporary music ensembles! Coupling two of Boulez's major works, "Éclat" and "Sur Ancise," the album features two different versions of "Éclat," with "Éclat/Multiples" extended by a track of fragments, recorded for the first time in the world. Following the performance on "Boulez: Complete Piano Works" (OBM016/BM016), which was released in 2021 to great acclaim as a "specially selected disc" by Record Geijutsu magazine and selected for "for your Collection" in the Asahi Shimbun evening edition, Michael Wendeberg conducts the ensemble. The specialist, who worked intensively with Boulez as pianist of the Ensemble Intercontemporain, which Boulez founded, and performed all of his piano works at the 2015 Boulez 90th anniversary event, will present a high-quality Boulez: The Complete Piano Works album, which only "bastille musique" can offer.
