Description:
Kazushi Ohno & Brussels Philharmonic! The 2nd Scriabin Cycle is "Symphony No. 3"! Conductor Kazushi Ohno has served as Music Director of the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, Artistic Director of the New National Theatre Opera, Music Director of the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra, and from September 2022, Music Director of the Brussels Philharmonic in Belgium, a position to which he has close ties. The fast-growing Belgian label Evil Penguin has launched a recording project with the Brussels Philharmonic, an important partner of Kazushi Ohno in Belgium, and has released a second Scriabin cycle, "Symphony No. 3 《Sacred Poem》". Sacred Poem" is now available! This is the third release from this label after the first "Scriabin: Symphony No. 2", which was selected as the Critics' Choice for 2024 by American Record Guide magazine, and the live recording of "R. Strauss: Life of Hero & Don Juan" (both "Recommended" by Record Geijutsu ONLINE). This is the third release from this label.Speaking of Ohno and Scriabin, the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra also performed his symphony to great acclaim, and Ohno himself said, "For me, Scriabin has a central and unique role among composers. Scriabin is a very special composer. Following his previous work "Symphony No. 2," which vividly portrayed the composer with great passion, "Symphony No. 3 "Sacred Poem,"" with its grandeur and mysterious character, will be performed with colorful sound.
