Allsopp's new special project, "The Moons Symphony," which will be performed in Japan in September 2022 with Hayato Kakuno (YouTuber "Katyn") and the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, is now available in Japan with Japanese commentary! The Moons Symphony" is a new work by Amanda Lee Falkenberg, a female composer and pianist from Australia who has won many international competitions and music awards, especially for film music, dramatically depicting past, present, and future lunar (satellite) exploration. The term "Moons" here refers not only to the Earth's moon "Moon," but also to satellites in general, and six moons of the Moon and outer planets are named in each movement title, including Io and Europa and Ganymede of Jupiter, Titan and Enceladus of Saturn, and Miranda of Uranus. The project, which was also discussed with researchers, engineers, and astronauts from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), is a spectacular choral symphony that combines music and science with the magnificent sound of Allsopp and the London Symphony Orchestra.Bonus track-like afterthoughts include Debussy's "Moonlight" played by Falkenberg and a poem by Falkenberg read by NASA female astronaut Nicole Stott.
