The accompaniment is provided by Scotland’s prestigious Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO). To recreate the size and seating arrangement of the Salzburg court orchestra that premiered these works, the RSNO has reduced the number of string instruments and arranged the violins in a face-to-face formation. Norrington’s attention to detail and stylistic approach resonate beautifully with Francesca Dego’s musicality, resulting in a beautiful, fresh, and captivating interpretation of Mozart’s masterpieces.
