Niko, maximum10, and ARAYAJAPAN have released a compilation CD titled “asitis/(not)as,” conceived by tracing the connections they’ve forged through interactions with bands and live music venues across the country. "asitis" means "as is." "notas" is used to mean "not as is (= changing)," and the title "asitis/(not)as" conveys the concept that "both bands that remain as they are and bands that continue to change are beautiful, and both are included on this album." Niko himself will also participate with a newly written song. The compilation CD “asitis/(not)as” will be sold exclusively at Tower Records, which endorsed the organizers’ vision: “to capture the chemical reaction between bands from all over Japan and the people gathering at the venue on the day of the event; to connect bands that rarely have the opportunity to come together; and to carry forward into the future the determination, will, and spirit of bands that are sharpening their claws and biding their time.”
