Abduraimov appears in the second collection of Scholl's works from Ukraine. Alexei Shawl, a native of Ukraine, is currently based in New York. His works have been performed and recorded by many internationally renowned musicians. This album contains three works by Scholl. From My Bookshelf," inspired by a children's classic that he found on the bookshelf in his bedroom when he was a child, is a fusion of literature and music, with each character represented by sound. The entire work is finished to resemble a bookshelf. The characters include familiar figures such as Cinderella, Don Quixote, and Tom Sawyer, as well as Quasimodo from "Notre Dame de Paris" and Janusz Kolchak's "Machiusz I." At the end of the piece, Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" is romantically depicted. At the end of the piece, Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet is romantically portrayed. Farewell Nocturne" is a short, accessible encore to "From My Bookshelf. While inspired by Glinka's work, Schorr has taken it in a new direction, giving it richer harmony and ornamentation for a more profound work.Abduraimov from Uzbekistan plays the piano in these two works. He gives a superb performance that brings out the character of each piece. The third piece, the Flute Concerto, is an arrangement of Scholl's own "Clarinet Concerto" and consists of a lively and energetic first movement, a lyrical second movement, and a rondo-like third movement with a bright conclusion, and the skills of the soloist in this performance, Jasmine Choi, are fully appreciated.
