As the title suggests, the album features choral pieces with an archaic charm reminiscent of medieval hymns, linked together by the mystical sound of the celesta: “Maizaldelgregoriano—A Gregorian-Style Cornfield,” —a piece in which choral works with an old-world charm reminiscent of medieval hymns are linked by the mystical sound of the celesta—as well as “Martin Fierro Theater,” featuring a call-and-response between three sopranos, and “Transfiguration,” which evokes a medieval motet.
