This fifth volume features the world premiere recording of works primarily centered on the ballet from the opera *Célérine*, along with the overture and two interludes from *Zanetta*, as well as a quadrille by the composer Musard—a contemporary of Auber—based on a melody from *Zanetta*. Auber’s career, which began in 1842 when he succeeded Cherubini as director of the École de Musique et de Théâtre (now the Paris Conservatoire), was marked by success, and his operas were widely praised for embodying Parisian elegance. Both *Zanetta* and *Celerine* feature charming female protagonists and are enriched by music brimming with elegance and lyricism. Musard’s quadrille, which directly reflects the popularity of these operas, is also a highlight.
