They have also performed with many renowned orchestras and actively introduce concertos for two guitars. This album features works by Rodrigo (1901-1999), one of the most important Spanish guitar composers of the modern era, and invites the listener into a magical Spanish evening. In addition to the well-known Aranjuez Concerto, the Andalusian Concerto, composed in 1767 for four guitars, is an intimate and dreamlike dialogue with the Eden-Stell Guitar Duo.The "Concerto de Madrigal," written the following year, is a delightful work filled with old Spanish melodies and folk songs, and is composed of variously seasoned pieces.
