The complete set of sonatas by Sorel (1729-1783) has already been released by NAXOS as a complete set of harpsichord sonatas played by Roland Rohland, who has many fans because of their beautiful formative beauty, but a series of piano sonatas is also secretly in progress, and this album is the third in the series (Vol. 1 This album is the third in the series (Vol. 1, 8.572515, Vol. 2, 8.572516). The pianist Zidanoff, who gives a superb performance here, is a talented young pianist who won the first prize at the 56th Maria Canals International Competition held in Barcelona in 2010. Some of the sonatas are surprisingly dramatic and make full use of chromatic scales, while others reflect the era with their neat and tidy construction, so you will never get tired of listening to any one of them.
