Description:
I thought Ruperto Csapi was a composer of salsuela, but I was surprised to hear that he had written such a wonderful orchestral piece. Fantasia morisca (Moorish Fantasy) was originally composed for the military band he led, but was revised into an orchestral version six years later, and its thoroughly cheerful tone is very attractive. The symphony, which also has the flavor of the Viennese classics, is also worth listening to. It is a wonderful work with rich melodies and colorful sounds. Naxos Japan
