The famous "Gymnopedies" in orchestral sound When one thinks of Satie, the first thing that comes to mind is the piano piece "Three Gymnopedies," which has nothing extra. It is so charming that Debussy and others arranged it for orchestra. The ballet "Parade," written for Diaghilev, is a happy joy, as if various objects were passing in procession. The use of typewriters and sirens caused a storm of protest at the first performance. Mercure" is the result of a collaboration with Picasso. Lelouch" is the last piece and a bit difficult, but you can't miss the joy of the "cinema" between the acts. The detailed track listing on this disc is convenient for the listener. Naxos Japan
