However, this recording was made in London in 1954 with an all-star cast of renowned singers of the time, and listeners can fully enjoy the magnificent performances of Gedda, Kunz, and others. Schwarzkopp’s lustrous voice as Zaffi is also simply irresistible. The bonus tracks consist of historical recordings from before 1930. They truly capture the sweet voices of a golden age.
