About 100 members in total! The ensemble is one of the largest ensembles of its kind in the world. The sound of the ensemble is surprisingly diverse, which supports its extremely high expressive power. Their unique soft and lustrous sound with many overtones, which neither a string orchestra nor a brass band can provide, gives the audience a new aspect of the work. The splendid co-starring and supporting cast, including Shintaro Fukumoto (arranger and conductor) and Junchika Arimura (soloist), are also noteworthy.
