The "twin guitars" born from a single tree weave a new world of the Golberg Variations. The latest album by Thibaut Garcia, one of the most acclaimed guitarists of his generation for his mastery and poetic sensibility. This album is the result of a deep artistic friendship with guitarist Antoine Moliniere, who has given new life to Bach's masterpiece "Goltberg Variations" by rearranging it for two guitars. The arrangement for two guitars was done by Garcia and Moliniere themselves and took a full year to complete. The guitars on the album are "twin guitars" cut from the same tree. String craftsman Hugo Cuvillier made them especially for this project. For this album, the two musicians stayed at the Solem Abbey in France to experience the life of monks in order to get a deeper insight into Bach's spirituality.
