NOBODY 40th Anniversary of Record Debut! A collection of rare sound sources including NOBODY's completely unreleased studio recordings, first recordings, and works under other names, remastered in 2024 under the supervision of Yukio Aizawa & Toshio Kihara, 2 CD set, with the latest interview with Yukio Aizawa & Toshio Kihara. Tower Records exclusive release! After working with Eikichi Yazawa's band, Yukio Aizawa (vo,g) and Toshio Kihara (vo,g) formed NOBODY in 1981.They provided songs and produced sound for many artists such as Koji Kikkawa's "Monica", "Sayonara wa Hachigatsu no Lullaby", "Nikumare Sonna New Face", Anne Lewis' "Roppongi Shinju", HOUND DOG, Kenji Sawada, Kyoko Koizumi, Yui Asaka, etc., and had hit songs one after another! NOBODY was a rare songwriting unit/producer team that dominated the music scene from the 198Os as a hit maker. SECRET AGENT GIRL" and "SONG BIRDS" are guitar instrumentals that pay homage to legends such as The Ventures and Chet Atkins. 5 songs released in 1985 under the name PINK CROWS have never been released on CD. In addition, "Love Again for Ginny" under the name Pink Crows is a completely unreleased studio recording. Unreleased versions of the famous songs "Monica" (by Koji Yoshikawa) and "Roppongi Shinju" (by Anne Lewis) with the lead vocals replaced.The album includes "Tears of Maybelline," a remake of the classic song "From Liverpool With Love" with different lyrics, and 4 other NO NO BOYS albums released in 1995. 2024 remixes of "ANOTHER PLACE (2024 REMIX)," "RED SHOES" (2024 REMIX), and "A HARD LUCK NIGHT" (2024 REMIX) is a rare sound source not included on the album. YOU CAN'T DO THAT", a cover of Lennon-McCartney's classic song included on the Beatles tribute album "I Want to Hug You", which featured many major artists, and "THE SKY SO BLUE", which was used in G.T. Hawkins commercials (1994, 1995). READY FOR BREAK," and "DREAM - IN A DREAM" and "YOU GOT TO WIN," which were released only as singles by Polestar as the theme songs for the Nippon Television information program "WIN," are rare recordings that have not been included on the album.The album includes a masterpiece cover of "GOOD OLD ROCK'N'ROLL", which was once covered by Carol and THE DAVE CLARK FIVE led by Eikichi Yazawa, a cover of PETER & GORDON's "I GO TO PIECES", and a cover of THE DAVE CLARK FIVE's "CAN'T YOU SEE A cover of THE DAVE CLARK FIVE's "THAT SHE'S MINE", a cover of the famous song "You're No Good" also known as a cover by Swinging Blue Jeans, and many other famous 60's British beat tunes are performed one after another. ROCK'N'ROLL MEDLEY" (DJ: TIM JENSEN) is the long-awaited first release on vinyl, featuring 27 rare tracks, including 4 tracks released under the name THE VOX TONES and THE PINEAPPLES on the KITCHEN label in 1999.
