Neil Young, the lone legend in the rock scene, releases a previously unreleased album recorded in 1975! Homegrown" is an album that was put on hold 45 years ago and was selected as one of the "15 Most Unreleased Albums of All Time" by Rolling Stone. The elaborate, mostly acoustic album dealt with his difficult relationship with his then-girlfriend, actress Carrie Snodgress, and Neil himself later stated that the emotional content of the album was "too private" to see the light of day. The master tapes were so damaged that Neil was told it would be impossible without the use of digital tools, but he did not agree. He then managed to restore the analog master with the utmost care. This is a high quality SHM-CD with Japan-specific specifications.
