In the fall of 2019, the world's largest classical music festival "Daiwa Securities Group presentsBBC Promus JAPAN" from the UK will finally be held in Japan! As a related album to the project, we are releasing a live recording of the last day of the 100th anniversary performance of the Promus in London. The recording conveys the enthusiasm and excitement of the live performance conducted by Andrew Davis, BBC Symphony Orchestra & Chorus, and guests including Bryn Terfel (baritone) and Evelyn Glennie (percussion). The recording includes a stunning climax of the well-known Japanese piece "Dignity No. 1," in which the orchestra is joined by a large chorus from the audience. (C)RS
