Katsumi Watanabe celebrates his 45th anniversary as a guitarist with his first new album in two years. Katsumi Watanabe, who has led the jazz and guitar worlds in Japan as a jazz guitarist, has joined with his beloved guitarists and the next generation of guitarists who will lead the future to present the charm of the guitar in a new way, spinning strings on the theme of the "duo," the smallest format of guitar ensembles. The fascination of the guitar is presented in a new way. Featured players include Lee Ritner (a close friend since the 70's), Mike Stern (recording together for the first time), Char, Kotaro Oshio, SUGIZO, Goro Ito, Shinichi Ikigata (Nothing's Carved In Stone), Takuya Miura (DEPAPEPE), Jin Oki, Ren Takada, and Mei Inoue. Also included is a track in which all the participating guitarists take solos over the percussion of Mino Sinel, who was also a member of the Miles Davis Group. Commentary included.
