The film is directed by Atsuko Ishizuka, the director of "Farther Than the Universe" and "No Game, No Life Zero". Directed by Atsuko Ishizuka of "A Place Farther Away than the Universe" and "No Game, No Life Zero". This is her first original theatrical film, and she also wrote the screenplay. The character design is by Takahiro Yoshimatsu, who also worked with Ishizuka on "A Place Further Away than Space. Animation production was handled by the talented studio MADHOUSE. The voice cast includes Natsuki Hanae, Yuki Kaji, Ayumi Murase, and Kana Hanazawa, all of whom are both talented and popular. Alexandros] sings the theme song. Fateful coincidences lead Don Griese to expand from a small place to a large world and to a new stage in both the story and the film production.
