Three years have passed since "Char's Rebellion", in which the Neo Zeon and Earth Federation forces fought each other. Siam, the head of the Bist Foundation, decides to transfer "Laplace's Box," which is said to have the potential to overthrow the Earth Federation government if opened, and has the current head of the foundation, Cardeas, plan a meeting with the "Sleeves" of the Neo Zeon remnants. However, the federal government, planning to prevent the "box" from leaking out, dispatches the special forces Echoes and Londo Bell Squadron.
