Mozart (1756-1791)

Description:

Unparalleled scale and expressiveness! Kuna's Mozart & Wagner with first-ever CD recordings! Notes: (1)(2): Originally released by Dreamlife in 2011 under the product number DLCA7032. This is a re-release, but newly remastered at King Sekiguchidai Studio. When "Jupiter" was first released, it was reviewed by Mr. Kuniyoshi Uno in "Record Geijutsu" magazine as follows: "Recommendation. Kuna's "Jupiter" is dark. Kuna's "Jupiter" has a deep sense of melancholy. But I was attracted to it. The '41 version I had heard before was not like Kuna, but this is Kuna himself. (This is the only absolute masterpiece of Kuna's performance of the same song, and it is a valuable disc. (3)(4)...These two pieces were recorded in 1950 for DECCA in the UK and released on SP as KX28573/4 and LP as LW5038. However, in Japan (on King Records), only (3) (Prelude to Act I) was released on three different LPs after MZ5128 and on CD on 250E183. The CD of the same music released by Universal was taken from the complete disc.As for (4) (Prelude to Act III), it has never been released by King. The same music source released by Universal is from the complete disc. This is the first reissue of the original DECCA LP, and the sound is as vivid and intense as DECCA, which is famous for its excellent recordings. Please enjoy Kuna's Wagner at his peak conducting the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. (5) In 1956, Kuna conducted "The Magic Flute" ten times at the Prinzregentheater in Munich. This overture on-air was performed on one of the dates (I assume it was January 27, which is the first day of the concert). There are no other Kuna recordings of this piece, so this will be another valuable disc. King International
