After going into film, he kept hoping to one day use this popular hair and makeup dresser from his hometown as a subject, and he got his wish. Directed by Stevens, who is himself gay, the film takes a sincere look at gay culture from the 1990s, when AIDS was widespread, to the present, and is filled with love in its depiction of gay couples. By also incorporating realistic topics such as social standing and inheritance issues into the story, this "Swan Song" achieves an honest finish as a piece of LGBTQ+ cinema. Pat is played by cinema treasure Udo Kier. This is truly a "swan song," a new frontier! Starring in the film is German-born Udo Kier, a world-renowned actor who has also worked in Hollywood. Kier, who has shown his talent as an actor from his early works such as "The Devil's Gut" to his recent works by Lars von Trier, maintains his strong personality and emotionally expresses his hesitation toward the last job in his life. He delivers a masterful performance that invites empathy, at times violently emotional and at other times quietly sorrowful. The film co-stars Jennifer Coolidge of "Promising Young Woman" and Michael Urie of the TV series "Ugly Betty. Eury is also known as an openly gay actor and TV producer.
