Yan Sha, the legendary independent hip-hop label that launched Danbao, introduced its first new artist in three years: MISSKO, aka Ge Zhongshan. Raised in New York, she traveled to Taiwan in search of her roots and was discovered by Yan Sha’s Dila Pang after participating in an online rap music video contest. She initially intended it to be nothing more than “casually enjoying music with friends.” However, her talent for improvisational rapping and her overwhelming presence quickly astonished those around her, ultimately leading to her full-fledged debut as the label’s rising star. This album, *KnockOut Ge Pi*, was entirely produced by Danbao. Just as Danbao redefined the "image of a hip-hop rapper" upon his debut, this album can be said to vividly shatter the stereotype that "female rappers are only selling sex appeal." MISSKO is not merely a figure defined by her looks. She possesses a powerful flow, exceptional rhythm, and the expressive ability to seamlessly switch between singing and rapping—skills that surpass even many male rappers.
