Gedike’s Piano Trio Arrangement of Tchaikovsky’s “The Seasons” Tchaikovsky’s collection of piano pieces, *The Seasons*, appears to exist in various versions, including Gauck’s orchestral arrangement and chamber music versions; this, however, is a piano trio arrangement by the Russian composer Gedike, best known for his Trumpet Concerto. Its mellow, contemplative atmosphere makes it perfect for listening to at dusk during the transition from fall to winter. Arensky’s “Piano Trio No. 1,” a representative work written in memory of Davidov, is a Russian masterpiece brimming with melancholy. It’s a perfect pairing for the fall season. Tobu Land System
