Joni Mitchell is one of the most famous artists of the 20th century, whose creative activities transcend genres such as jazz, crossover, rock, and painting. This is a rare acoustic live performance recorded by WHAT, a local radio station, in Philadelphia about a year before her impressive debut produced by David Crosby in 1968. This time, it appears in its longest version. The show was recorded by WHAT, a local radio station, and is now available in its longest version, with the addition of another in-studio show that took place two days later. The first main show was at a small live house called "Second Fret Club". Joni talks to the audience in a friendly manner and performs her own songs in that intimate space, using only her guitar and clear vocals. Even before his debut, he already has three albums' worth of original music, and here he also performed a song that will later be released on his third album. The song "Both Sides Now," which will appear on the second album, is one of her favorites, and she also introduces the name of the book that inspired her to write "Both Sides Now"! We're going to live forever." She wrote "The Circle Game" as an answer song. Her voice is clear and transparent, colored by a pure and simple sensibility.
