Cimen Yalcin

Description:

The KALAN label, which is popular for introducing a wide range of traditional and classical Turkish music, from rare reissues to new recordings, has released a new album that has attracted a great deal of attention. This is the debut album by Cimen Yalçın, a female singer of haluk (Turkish folk songs), who is currently the talk of the town with the catch phrase "the voice that makes Turkey cry. Cimen Yalçın was born in 1987 in Tatvan, the main city in the Tatvan district of Bitlis Province in eastern Turkey. 6 years old she had her first stage experience and at the age of 11 she won a barrama, and at 14 she won a competition organized by a radio station. She studied traditional music academically at a music school and began her career as a professional singer in 2004, and in 2013 she joined the Turkish Folk Music Choir, an organization under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and in 2016 she participated in the project "The Mix City", In 2016, he participated in the European Music Awards organized by MTV. In recent years, he has been involved in a number of film and TV series projects and has become well-known at the level of the public eye. This album, her first solo release, has been planned since 2014, and recording began in earnest in 2016, finally being completed this year after many twists and turns. As the title suggests, the album features halqs from all over Anatolia, sung in various languages such as Azerbaijani, Kurdish, and Laz as well as Turkish, backed by acrostic arrangements, with as many as 10 arrangers assigned to each traditional song according to its character. The album features songs from various languages and hulks from different parts of Anatolia, backed by acousitic arrangements. Furthermore, this album was produced by Hasan Saltuk, a major figure in this scene who sadly passed away last year. It was also the last work produced by Hasan Saltuk, who sadly passed away last year. The most interesting thing about this album is Cimen's beautiful and bewitching voice. The vocals are not the thick and rich exotic taste often associated with Turkish vocals, but rather a superb hulk with precise pitch and elegant vibrato and falsetto, backed by a traditional arrangement. This is truly great news for the Turkish Hulk! Fans are encouraged to pay close attention to the big news. *Japanese commentary is not enclosed.
