Anandi, the beloved daughter of Devashish Bhattacharya, a slide guitarist of North Indian classical music who has become known worldwide since the mid-2000s, makes a spectacular debut as a vocalist on a popular British label! In addition to her father's combos based on classical raga music, she also performs folk songs from Rajasthan and Bengal, poems by Nobel Prize-winning Indian poet Rabindranath Tagore, and original numbers by the young Spanish musician Carola Ortiz. The performance showcases a wide range of musicality that is not confined to the framework of classical music.
