Described by Luigi as “one of the deepest and most complex musical works ever written,” this monumental opera portrays the full spectrum of human nature—family, love, loss, and the thirst for power—on stage. True to the promise that “you will be guided by beautiful music and text throughout the story, and by the end, you yourself will be transformed,” this is an overwhelming performance that offers a soul-stirring musical experience. The superb recording by Grammy Award-winning producer Dirk Sobotka is also a must-hear. "In this recording, a single singer portrays all the major roles that appear throughout the tetralogy (a method that aligns with the ideal of the Bayreuth Festival). Veteran American baritone Mark Delavan sings the role of Wotan, and this recording should serve as an opportunity for the world to discover the talents of this singer, who is not yet widely known in Europe or Japan. The role of Siegfried is sung by Daniel Johansson from Sweden.
