Alexandra Tirsú, a native of Moldova, won the third prize and the audience prize at the ARD Munich International Music Competition in 2021, and also won the first prize in the Age-U category at the Osaka International Music Competition in 2014. She has already gained fans in Japan and is releasing her first album. The album features Shostakovich and Hindemith concertos, and it is a pleasure to enjoy her technique and musicality to the fullest. Although these works tend to be heavy, Tiroussou fully demonstrates her sensitivity and gives a wonderful performance, highlighting the extended lyricism and musicality of the works rather than their darker shadows.
