Description:
Recital album by violinist Julian Walder, born in Vienna in 2000. The album title "(R)-EVOLUTION" has a double meaning of "evolution" and "revolution." The album opens with Bach's "Chaconne" and follows the development and innovation of later composers in what it brought to violin music. Julien Walder has achieved outstanding results in numerous international competitions, including first prize in the competition sponsored by the New York International Society of Artists and third prize in the Henri Marteau International Competition in 2023. Her performances have taken her throughout the United States, Asia, and Europe, and she has made debuts at some of the world's most prestigious venues, including Carnegie Hall, the Bolshoi Theater, the Musikverein in Vienna, and the Mozarteum's Great Hall in Salzburg. In addition to giving independent performances in Vienna each year, she is also active in educational activities, teaching at the Lilienfeld Summer Academy and organizing international master classes.
